After years of buying fabric, and finding that after one to two washes it faded, I found Moda--which produces medium to high quality cottons--instead of low to medium quality.
I am working at getting a larger selection.
unitednotions.com is the website for Moda, and if you see something you like there, I may be able to get it for you when I go next.
This is the classic all white
muslin. I love blouses out of this because it is cool, 100% cotton, and has texture! To wear with a skirt, you do have to have a camisole on.
(It is not a Moda fabric.)

This adorable dot print has red, green, tan, and white dots
on a navy mini stripe background. It is silky soft and 100% cotton.
These four patterned fabrics
are from Moda, and are five dollars a yard. The blue dotty fabric and the red floral are good quality quilting type fabric.
The other two are very nice wovens.
